Without question, the most well-known and often-eaten Vietnamese food around the world is Phở Bò (Vietnamese BEEF rice-noodle soup). In Vietnam, it’s a staple and delicious steamy meal for almost the entire population in early mornings and late nights.

The secret to creating truly delicious Phở Bò is “in the bones.” Not mine, of course, but those beef bones that I’ll simmer for many hours to extract the rich and sweet flavor of the beef. After those many hours have passed, I’ll add my special blend of uniquely-flavored Vietnamese herbs and spices to create the definitive “nước lèo” (soup stock) for the Phở Bò.

My Phở broth will be filled with slices of two kinds of flavorful beef – tái & nạm (top round & shank). This yummy soup will be topped with celantro and chopped green onion. In a separate container, you’ll find my classic phở rice noodles and fresh Vietnamese herbs & greens to add to the broth as you eat. I’ll add two kinds of sauces for dipping the generous serving of beef, as you eat.
