The centerpiece of this classic Saigon dish is a meaty duck leg and thigh served up with a large portion of Mì (wheat noodles – sometimes called “Chinese noodles”). There will be plenty to eat. I’ll braise the duck meat til it’s moist, delicious, and “falls off the bone”. YUM!

What will make this meal more heavenly is the dipping sauce, Ớt Sa Te. Strong and spicy, it’s absolutely delicious. Dip your duck meat into this amazing sauce and enjoy a major taste treat. [NOTE: If spicy isn’t your thing, I’ll also offer a milder version. Just let me know your preference in your order notes.] Finally, floating in the broth around the duck will be dark-green leafy Vietnamese vegetables – flavorful & nutritious.

I loved every element of this dish! The noodles, duck, broth, mushrooms, and vegetables came together so beautifully and was deeply satisfying to eat. The homemade chili paste stole the show for me— I would bathe in that chili if I could. Complex, richly umami, wildly delicious. I want more!
